The K20 from KYODO is equipped with kect® kyodo-easy-changetechnology®.
This enables the easy replacement of only the wiper blade. KYODO is reversing the trend of using modules that force complete unit replacements, when only part of a module may have failed.
A KYODO K20 is supplied complete. Should the wiper blade deteriorate in performance, it only needs replacing with a new K2 replacement blade; the wiper frame is retained.
As the caps located on the ends of the windscreen wiper may become damaged when the blade is changed, each KYODO K2 wiper blade package contains 2 new caps.
KYODO BLADE REPLACEMENT - STEP BY STEP (Rollover each step below to view image)
- Off the end cap from one end of the windscreen wiper, remove the worn wiper blade and take off the protective sleeve from the new K2 replacement blade.
- Slide the new wiper blade into the track of the K20 windscreen wiper frame.
- Push the wiper blade along the track of the K20 windscreen wiper frame.
- If the wiper blade meets resistance when sliding along, pull the blade from the middle further along the track.
- When the wiper blade is well seated, put the new end cap on.
